Job Description

ChristianaCare's Administrative Fellowship is a one-year training program offered to students in their final year of, or a recent graduate, of an accredited Masters Program in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field.As a large health system in a small state, ChristianaCare will offer a unique, challenging and diverse learning experience for our fellow. We are engaged in many efforts to transform our health system and meet the health care challenges facing our community and nation.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate for this role will:Actively participate in the Administrative Fellowship Program education curriculum.Gain exposure to elements of our health care delivery system in areas such as our service lines, essential services, medical group, information technology, home health, and others.Work collaboratively with Preceptor to identify projects, rotations and key learning opportunities.Engage in rotations to develop a broad understanding of the integrated health system.Utilize learned project management skills to support the completion of assigned and acquired projects to gain hands-on, project-specific experience.Interact with key system wide leaders.Attend senior management meetings to support the understanding of operating as a total health care system.Participate in professional development.
