Agriculture Marketing & Research Intern – Return® – Good-for-the-Earth Growing Supplies

Location: Stewartville, MN (Fully-remote or hybrid) | Part-Time | College Credit Eligible

Duration: 3-6 months, with the ability to extend or return.

Please note : you must be eligible to receive college or graduate credit to accept this internship.

Are you an undergrad or master’s student studying agronomy, ag marketing, or ag business—and ready to get real-world experience in the soil health and regenerative ag space? Return is looking for an intern to support a hybrid role in marketing, sales development, and research. You’ll help us stay ahead of trends, test new ideas, and connect with growers in practical, results-driven ways.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend Spotting in Agronomy: Research emerging practices, products, and grower needs to inform product development.
• Soil Health & Market Research: Help compile and summarize research, trial data, and grower feedback.
• Support Digital Marketing Campaigns: Assist with emails, digital content, and outreach to farmers.
• Sales Tools & Messaging: Propose new ways to reach and support growers through tools, content, or strategy.
• Capstone/Research Opportunities: Pitch your own capstone project or help us build partnerships with university-led research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or Master’s student in Agronomy, Ag Marketing, Ag Business , or directly related field.
• Solid organization, research, and writing skills.
• Required: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet)
• Preferred: Familiarity with Slack , project management tools (Monday) , and design software like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Self-starter with a strong interest in regenerative agriculture and sustainable growing inputs
