Description Established law firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area has an immediate opening for an Attorney! This Attorney will join the litigation practice group and focus on supporting businesses with matters including commercial, breach of contract, trade secret, employment, and the related. This position is 100% remote the this attorney can be located anywhere in the US but must hold a CA Bar license. This is a contract position, starting part-time and likely to ramp up to full-time hours. Responsibilities: - Draft persuasive legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents. - Handle discovery processes, including gathering, reviewing, and organizing case materials. - Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments. - Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and cases are handled effectively. - Review and analyze case law, statutes, and other legal precedents. - Provide strategic input on litigation approaches and case management. - Adapt to fluctuating workloads, transitioning between part-time and long-term hours as needed. - Uphold high standards of precision and accuracy in all written and verbal communications. - Maintain confidentiality and integrity while working on sensitive cases. Requirements Qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation. - Active bar membership in the state of California. - Proficiency in drafting legal documents, motions, and briefs. - Strong expertise in discovery, including document review and case preparation. - Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines. - Familiarity with trade secret and breach of contract law. - Exceptional analytical and research skills. - Availability to work part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) with the potential to transition to a long-term position.
