Key Responsibilities:
Auditing: Perform comprehensive audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Tax Preparation & Consulting: Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to prepare and file individual and business tax returns, provide strategic tax planning, and reduce client liabilities.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present key financial statements including balance sheets and income statements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Create and manage budgets, forecast future financial trends, and track financial performance.
Financial Analysis: Conduct deep financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Consulting Services: Offer expert financial consulting and guidance to clients for business and personal financial growth.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure quality and efficiency.
Internal & External Audits: Lead internal audit processes and assist in external audit activities.
Fraud Prevention: Identify and investigate suspicious activity or discrepancies in financial records.
Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve client or organizational financial disputes.
Expert Testimony: Serve as a financial expert in legal matters when required.
Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic financial planning for clients and internal business goals.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
years of relevant accounting and tax experience
Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software is required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team
