Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental health disorders. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including interviews, tests, and observations to evaluate patients' mental health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and best practices.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and groups, addressing a range of disorders including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in supervision, consultation, and case management discussions to enhance clinical skills and improve service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in clinical psychology through ongoing education and training.
- Engage in outreach and community education efforts to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure to practice psychology (or eligibility for licensure).
- Experience with evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, IPT, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with a variety of psychological assessment tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to culturally competent care and an understanding of the social and systemic factors that affect mental health.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
