Customer Service Representative
Pay: $22/hr
Location: Onsite in Torrance, CA
Duration: 3 month, W-2, Contract (Starts 6/2)
Working in a team environment, provide superior customer service as related to the overall follow-up and processing of customer orders and inquires;
Duties:
* Promptly and professionally process all customer orders and inquiries using primarily EDI orders
* Participate in all order and data entry functions and all related customer service issues
* Ensure 100% order accuracy for all parts of our customers' orders
* Continuously learn product fundamentals, basic features and benefits for ne w product introductions
* Manage customer contracts ( OM stocking programs )
* Process all customer orders and quotations in compliance with corporate policies and procedures
* Maintain consistent documentation and files on all customers, distributors and potential customers within the given sales territory
* Provide high quality customer service and develop strong customer relationships
* Pro-actively manage our customers corporate product life cycle - new product introductions, new applications through a solid understanding of our products
* Ability to learn and demonstrate product fundamentals and basic technical knowledge
* Maintain quality and up-to-date customer information regarding shipment methods, credit terms, existing and new part numbers, new applications, changes in ordering patterns, etc.
* Link all pertinent information to that particular customer within the CRM system
* Create and process SDR's when necessary
* Work closely and assist Business Development and Sales Engineers
* Provide basic training of corporate policies and procedures as requested.
* Assist the Accounts Receivable Department in collecting delinquent payments as requested.
* Provide market feedback to help improve our lead-times, service, or other functions valued by our customers;
Requirements:
* High School Diploma and 1-2 years of related experience;
* Excellent verbal communication skills;
* Interpersonal skills. Focused on resolving conflict;
* Good computer skills.
