Summer Day Camp Program Staff

Make a difference in the life of a camper and spend an unforgettable summer working for Girl Scouts of Colorado! Guide, supervise and counsel elementary and middle school aged campers in outdoor program activities at various day camp locations across the Denver Metro area. Days at camp are filled with hiking, boating, outdoor skills, archery, Girl Scout outdoor badges, team building, camp games, singing and other activities.

Summer day camp is a great way to add work experience and desirable skills to your resume - especially for those pursuing a degree in education or recreation!

Summer 2023 Work Schedule:

• June 5-9: Staff Training Week, Denver. 35-40 hours, schedule will be finalized and additional training dates may be added and will be shared with staff by Day Camp Program Manager by Mid-May.
• Camp sessions are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday hours will vary as needed to reset for the next camp week, staff meetings, and additional training. Staff will work between 36-40 hours per week.
• Camp Session 1: June 12-16, Bear Creek Lake Park, Lakewood
• Camp Session 2: June 19-23, Chatfield State Park, Littleton
• Camp Session 3: June 26-30, Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora
• GSCO Closed July 3-7
• Camp Session 4: July 10-14, Bear Creek Lake Park, Lakewood
• Camp Session 5: July 17-21, Chatfield State Park, Littleton
• Camp Session 6: July 24-28, Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora
