POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is searching for a skilled English - Vietnamese Interpreter to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will provide accurate interpretation services to facilitate effective communication between English and Vietnamese speakers in various settings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver real-time interpretation services for meetings, medical appointments, legal consultations, and other interactions involving English and Vietnamese speakers.
• Ensure clarity and accuracy in interpretation by employing best practices and maintaining high professional standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout all assignments.
• Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and understanding the specific needs of clients and contexts.
• Commit to continuous improvement of language skills and interpretation techniques to enhance service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in both English and Vietnamese, with outstanding oral and written communication abilities in both languages.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances to facilitate effective communication.
• Excellent listening and analytical skills to ensure precise interpretation.
• Prior experience in interpretation, particularly in medical or legal settings, is preferred.
