EPM Systems Administrator

Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid – currently 2 days per week onsite)

Henderson Drake is working with a global enterprise seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the ongoing management and optimisation of its enterprise performance management (EPM) platform.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting corporate planning, budgeting, and reporting functions within a complex, multinational environment.

Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik is highly preferred; experience with similar EPM tools (Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC, etc.) will be considered.

Role Overview

This role focuses on the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the planning system. It involves collaboration across finance, IT, and business teams to ensure the platform supports the organisation’s financial planning and reporting objectives effectively and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the planning platform (CCH Tagetik), including maintenance of system configuration, workflows, and user access.
• Manage system updates, configuration changes, and troubleshooting to ensure ongoing performance and availability.
• Support business users by providing training, documentation, and first-line issue resolution.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external partners to support integrations with source systems, ensure data quality, and coordinate testing and deployment.
• Implement system enhancements aligned with business needs and governance processes.
• Monitor system performance and participate in disaster recovery planning and system continuity processes.
• Coordinate planning cycles and ensure system readiness for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and data integrity.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in financial systems administration, FP&A, or related business functions.
• Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik is highly preferred; experience with similar EPM tools (Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC, etc.) will be considered.
• Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis workflows.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and related technologies such as SAP BW.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with Power BI and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and with international teams.
• Understanding of system change control, testing methodologies, and user acceptance processes.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or a related discipline.
• Tagetik certification or relevant technical qualifications are desirable.
• Comfortable working independently while managing priorities in a complex global environment.
