Seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Outpatient based cardiology practice

Schedule: 4 shifts/week; 8-10 hour shifts

Experience in Cardiology preferred

*Patient care and good interpersonal skills are most important in our practice*

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in an outpatient cardiology setting under physician collaboration
• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including history, physical exams, and risk stratification
• Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, and laboratory studies
• Provide patient education on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle modification, and preventive care
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State
• Current BLS certification, required
• EMR Used: Epic
• Patient Type: Adults

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
