Job Description

Krucial Rapid Response is a non-profit corporation that is rapidly preparing, mobilizing, and deploying medical personnel and critical resources to communities across the United States. Our primary purpose is to provide critical support in the form of personnel and other assistance to under-resourced communities facing emergency situations.

*THE SALARY RANGE POSTED IS FOR ANNUAL BASE PAY. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR AN INCENTIVE PLAN IN ADDITION TO THE BASE SALARY.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for the sourcing and pre-qualifying of clinical and non-clinical reservists and placing them in positions given by clients of Krucial Rapid Response which match their desired career goals, skillset, and destination. The recruiter role can work to fill all position types for the organization (Contract, Direct Hire, Per Diem) as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Customer service and communication via phone, text, or email – inbound and outbound
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications from multiple databases, social media, job boards
  • Place clinical and non-clinical candidates for temporary/short-term contract positions, travel, direct hire, and/or per diem positions.
  • Maintain oversight and ensure all recruiting efforts are exhausted for assigned orders
  • Build and maintain pipeline of prequalified candidates and propose them to all matching open orders – assigned or unassigned
  • Collect credentials and maintain candidate compliance in adherence with organization and/or client credentialing requirements
  • Facilitate the hiring process including interviewing and screening qualified candidates, quoting pay packages, securing required documentation, negotiating employment terms, and onboarding new candidates
  • Serve as candidate representative and liaison through interdepartmental coordination with Account Coordination, Compliance, HR, & Finance teams and Krucial Onsite Representatives (KOR), when applicable
  • Data maintenance within our systems and computer programs with candidate information and journal notes.
  • Perform reference checks as needed and assist candidate with revising their resumes, based on client or VMS requirements.
  • Serve as point of contact for candidates during the selection process and while candidate is actively working for Krucial.
  • Maintain schedules of personnel on local and travel contracts
  • Maintain and grow pool of working personnel through extending working staff and placing new candidates
  • Stay informed of recruiting trends and best practices while maintaining industry specific knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; college degree or additional training preferred.
  • 3 years experience in healthcare recruiting required. Contract, Direct Hire, Travel, Per Diem- all types desired.
  • Staffing agency work experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent Organizational and time management skills
  • Independent decision making
  • Working knowledge of interviewing and applicant screening process
  • Computer and multi-line soft phones (TalkDesk)
  • ATS (Applicant tracking system) usage and experience
  • Microsoft: Outlook, PowerApps, Forms, Teams, SharePoint
  • Ability to learn and use other forms of technical systems and applications for communications with candidates required.
  • Experience with various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) for advertising and sourcing candidates.
