Job Title: Information Technology Analyst I

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 27-Week Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (60-minute break)

Pay Rate: $23–$26 per hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Technology Analyst I to support day-to-day IT operations within a healthcare environment. This role provides technical support, system troubleshooting, and basic systems analysis to ensure reliable technology services for clinical and administrative users. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, and comfortable supporting users across varying technical skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users, including clinical staff

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application-related issues

  • Assist users with account setup, system access, and login issues

  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and related equipment

  • Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues as appropriate

  • Support healthcare information systems and related workflows

  • Perform basic analysis and resolution of HL7 interface issues, when applicable

  • Manage incident tickets, documentation, and status updates using IT service tools

  • Collaborate with IT teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and improvements

  • Maintain accurate records of issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions

  • Deliver excellent customer service and provide technical guidance to users

  • Assist with special projects, system deployments, and testing activities as needed

  • Adhere to organizational policies, data confidentiality standards, and IT security protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to support users with varying levels of technical expertise

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations

  • Exposure to healthcare information systems (HIS) or clinical environments

  • Working knowledge of:

    • HL7 messaging standards

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with MS Project and Visio a plus

    • Windows and UNIX operating systems

    • Databases such as Oracle and SQL

    • Basic programming or scripting (Java, HTML, Visual Basic, C/C++, Perl)
