Job Description

  • Serve as the primary scientific resource for healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide clinical and scientific support for the company’s products, including disease state education and product training.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and academic institutions.
  • Attend medical conferences, symposia, and advisory boards to gather insights and share scientific information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Marketing) to support product development and launch strategies.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs with accurate and balanced scientific information.
  • Support clinical trial activities, including site identification, recruitment, and investigator engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze scientific literature and competitor activities to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal guidelines in all interactions.
  • Education:
    • Advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an MSL or in a related role (e.g., clinical research, medical affairs, or pharmaceutical industry).
    • Experience in [specific therapeutic area, e.g., oncology, cardiology, neurology, etc.] is preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and medical affairs.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information for diverse audiences.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
    • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to travel frequently (e.g., 50-70% of the time, depending on the territory).
