RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to assemble tubes by hand with or without the use of fixtures
• Must repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
• Must be able to maintain welding equipment
• Must be able to perform finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
• Must set fixture and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required
• Must have knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloys

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of Welder experience
• Must be a certified welder.
• Must be proficient in assigned MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Must have knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases applicable for various alloys, working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
• Must have the ability to read blueprints, especially weld requirement symbols.
