Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapy state license or proof of eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as required.
• Adhere to treatment schedules, clinical and billing documentation, and attend work-related meetings.
• Participate in patient care conferences and related meetings.
• Refer patients to other disciplines or agencies as needed.
• Consult with rehabilitation team members to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs.
• Ensure a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards.
• Order necessary supplies and equipment.
• Clean, maintain, and report equipment repair needs.
• Prioritize patient service to provide high-quality care in a compassionate atmosphere.
• Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, treatment plans, and goals.
• Design and apply adaptive devices, and train patients in their use.
• Select activities suited to patients' abilities and interests.
• Instruct patients in skills for functional activities and evaluate their progress.
• Perform routine reexaminations to adjust treatment plans.
• Other duties assigned by Management.
