Project Controls Manager – In Office Position Only

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Controls Manager in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the project controls for multiple activities including scope of work, costs, schedules, resources, and risks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizing, executing, and coordinating daily responsibilities of team members
• Development and mentor Junior Staff
• Support project management through the development of cost and schedule baseline
• Planning and scheduling while working closely with management and leadership team
• Analyze project schedule and updates using Primavera P6
• Assist in coordination construction activities and professions required
• Oversight of the bid, proposal, and estimating activities
• Negotiations up to award and contract execution
• Manage the labor hours, labor cost and manpower required within the allocated budget
• Experienced working with project management team in developing document controls framework and the processing of procedures

Education and Experience

• BS or BA in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Project Controls Manager with 10 years in projects controls working on engineering and construction projects
• Experience managing contract review, negotiation, client relationships for medium-to-large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Projects
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple long-term and short-term tasks simultaneously
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Advanced P6 scheduling a must
