Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Review and proofread various documents, including reports, proposals, and presentations, to ensure accuracy and clarity
Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors in the content
Ensure consistency in style, formatting, and language usage
Collaborate with writers and content creators to make necessary revisions
Verify facts, and data sources
Adhere to company guidelines and industry standards for quality assurance

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Proven experience as a proofreader or editor
Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar skills
Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

Desired Experience:

1-2 years of experience in proofreading or editing roles
Experience working in the IT or government contracting industry is a plus

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
