Radiology or Cardiology – Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Travel Position Location: Kinston, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Days Pay: $2,474/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to join a healthcare facility in Kinston, NC on a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various heart conditions. This role requires precision, strong anatomical knowledge, and a patient-focused approach in a fast-paced clinical setting. Key Responsibilities * Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms as ordered by the physician. * Operate ultrasound and imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. * Analyze and record test results accurately, ensuring proper documentation in patient records. * Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret results and determine the best course of care. * Educate patients about procedures and address any concerns prior to testing. * Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness, and follow proper infection control protocols. * Adhere to hospital and department protocols, policies, and standards of care. * Support and contribute to a safe and effective working environment within the cardiology department. Qualifications * Current and valid registry with ARDMS or CCI in cardiac sonography (RDCS or RCS required). * Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting. * BLS certification required. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
