Job Description

Our manufacturing client is hiring an R&D Engineering Manager to lead the development and validation of new and existing products. This role will oversee product reliability engineering and early-stage design testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development, validation, and reliability testing for new and existing products
• Manage a team of 2–5 engineers focused on testing, failure analysis, and design improvement
• Oversee field and lab testing efforts (life testing, environmental testing, etc.)
• Analyze warranty/field data and drive corrective actions
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality to solve product issues
• Own project planning, resource management, and engineering documentation

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related); Master’s preferred
• 6+ years in R&D, product validation/reliability, or product engineering
• 2+ years leading engineering teams
• Skilled in FMEA, RCA, CAE tools, SolidWorks, MATLAB
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership
