Job Title – Sanitation Yard Worker
Company Location – La Puente, CA
On-site, Full Time, Temp-to-hire
Pay –$17.81/hr. DOE

NOTE: Work Schedule/ Shift: 5am to 1:30pm (w/ 30 min lunch)

Job Summary of the Sanitation Yard Worker position
Responsible for maintaining equipment in clean and working conditions and ensuring that equipment leaving the yard meets quality standard.

Responsibilities of the Sanitation Yard Worker position
Wash portable restrooms and handwashing stations.
Remove graffiti and other markings using various solvents.
Safely operate forklift and tools, if assigned.
Will receive on the job training and certification.
Follow all safety rules and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Perform other duties and/or tasks as requested or assigned.
Maintain safe and clean work area.
Repair broken restrooms and handwash stations
Communicating with coworkers and supervisors
May be assigned to go out as a Driver Assistant helping to load/unload equipment
May work as a yard driver by fueling and organizing trucks within the yard.

Requirements of the Sanitation Yard Worker position
One year of related work experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow detailed instructions including safety rules, procedures, and assignment instructions
Apply common-sense understanding to decision making processes.
Ability to work long hours (up to 12 hours per day)
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Forklift certification will be provided after hire, if necessary
Must be okay to be exposed to unpleasant odors and high noise levels.
