**Job Summary** We are seeking a Senior IBM ACE Developer with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)/ IIB and IBM APIC. This role involves designing and developing middleware applications within the Utilities domain. The position is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Design and develop robust middleware IBM ACE applications tailored to the Utilities domain ensuring seamless integration and functionality. + Develop the necessary IBM APIC component for any internal or external REST webservice invocation in the application flow. + Using DevOps deploy the IBM ACE applications, APIC components in the CP4I platform hosted in OpenShift. + Oversee the development and deployment of application integration processes leveraging expertise in XML Schema Definition and JSON. + Provide technical guidance and support for REST API implementations ensuring optimal performance and security. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural designs. + Lead the evaluation and selection of appropriate design patterns and architectural frameworks to enhance system scalability and efficiency. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all architectural designs and implementations. + Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of existing systems identifying areas for improvement and optimization. + Facilitate workshops and technical discussions to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders driving continuous improvement. + Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members. + Monitor and evaluate system performance implementing necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation. + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members fostering a culture of learning and development. + Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and trends integrating relevant innovations into architectural strategies. + Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of architectural solutions aligning with project goals and timelines. **Qualifications** + Have a solid understanding of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), APIC and its application within the Utilities domain. + Have a good expertise SQL Queries and Store Procedure. + Good to have additional knowledge in IBM cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), OpenShift and basic SAP functionality. + Possess a strong background in ESQL language, Data Integration XML Schema Definition and JSON with proven experience in practical applications. + Demonstrate expertise in SFTP, REST, IBM ACE Connectors with a focus on security and performance optimization. + Exhibit proficiency in architectural design and pattern selection ensuring scalable and efficient applications. + Show experience in the Utilities domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements. + Display excellent communication and collaboration skills essential for cross-functional teamwork. + Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. **Salary and Other Compensation:** · The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 to $132,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. · This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. · Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: · Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance · Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off · 401(k) plan and contributions · Long-term/Short-term Disability · Paid Parental Leave · Employee Stock Purchase Plan · Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
