SHOP MANAGER/MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Location: West Jordan, UT

Reports to: Site Manager

Compensation: $90 - $110K

Your Role:

The Shop Manager/Manufacturing Manager will lead a new division within our factory. This role involves planning, scheduling, and overseeing all manufacturing operations and personnel. An ideal opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience in laser cutters, press brake, and other machinery. Bring your strong leadership, organizational skills, and proactive attitude to lead and build our newest team.

What You’ll Do:

• Promote and ensure a safe working environment and follow all OHS policies and procedures
• Lead manufacturing activities, team development, hiring, and training
• Oversee manufacturing schedules ensuring quality standards and production schedules are met
• Develop processes and bring continuous improvement to systems and processes
• Monitor and control the schedule, budget, and quality of production jobs

What You’ll Bring:

• 7+ years experience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication setting
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Solid communication and collaboration with an ability to engage at all levels of the business
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with production schedules, budgets, and reports
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Pronto, and CAD software
• Hands-on experience with laser cutters, bending brake, press brake, and welding machines or similar
