Job Description Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Non-Operative Sports Medicine Physician to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions using non-surgical methods. This position focuses on providing high-quality care for athletes and active individuals of all ages, emphasizing rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnosis & Treatment: * Diagnose and manage acute and chronic sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. * Develop and implement personalized, non-surgical treatment plans utilizing therapies such as physical therapy, injections, bracing, and rehabilitation. * In-Office Procedures: * Perform ultrasound-guided injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and other regenerative medicine procedures. * Administer joint injections, viscosupplementation, and other advanced modalities to facilitate recovery. * Multidisciplinary Collaboration: * Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients. * Educate patients on injury prevention, performance optimization, and safe return-to-play protocols. * Sideline & Event Coverage: * Provide medical coverage and support at local sports events, schools, and athletic organizations when needed. * Imaging Interpretation: * Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasounds to guide treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes. * Medical Documentation & Compliance: * Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. * Community Engagement: * Participate in outreach efforts, sports medicine education, and research initiatives to stay ahead in the field and support the community. Qualifications & Skills: * Required: * Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. * Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with a fellowship in Sports Medicine. * Active state medical license and DEA registration. * Proficiency in non-surgical orthopedic treatments, including regenerative medicine and ultrasound-guided procedures. * Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care. * Preferred: * Experience in providing sideline coverage for sports teams. * Knowledge of sports concussion management and return-to-play protocols. * Familiarity with cutting-edge treatments in regenerative medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
