ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Underwriter , you’ll oversee multi-line accounts, manage Commercial Liability and Property coverage for Affordable Housing Risk Management portfolios, and conduct policy reviews. Your responsibilities will include pricing policies, coordinating services, and working closely with internal teams and external vendors. Success in this role requires expertise in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance, reinsurance, and risk evaluation. Commercial P&C insurance, reinsurance, and risk evaluation.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Has 5+ years of underwriting experience in commercial lines underwriting, including Property & Casualty expertise. Direct carrier experience is a MUST.
• Brings experience in Auto coverage and habitational personal lines (preferred).
• Possesses strong knowledge of Risk Management principles and is comfortable with contracts and credit reports.
• Is self-motivated, with exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Can work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bonus: Agent’s license and/or Certificate in General Insurance.
