We believe in the power of innovation and collaboration, and our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in robotics. Join us and help shape the future of automation!

Job Description

The UI/UX Designer will lead design efforts across Slip’s internal and customer-facing software tools, shaping how operators, technicians, and managers interact with our robotic systems. In this role, you’ll take product requirements and loosely defined problems and translate them into clear, simple, and intuitive interfaces that align with Slip’s brand and operational goals. You’ll work closely with product and engineering but operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning everything from early wireframes to production-ready designs. This is an opportunity for a designer who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to have a direct impact on the adoption of automation in the real world. This role reports to the Head of Product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own design from concept to execution across Slip’s software interfaces
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and product goals
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success, and Field teams to deeply understand user needs and edge cases
  • Establish consistent design patterns and visual language across products
  • Run lightweight usability tests and gather input from customers and internal users
  • Help Slip look and feel like the category-defining tech company we are

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web, mobile, or embedded system interfaces
  • Experience designing for complex workflows and for technical and non technical users
  • Comfortable moving quickly in a startup environment
  • Proficiency in basic prototyping tools
  • Bonus Experience
    • Experience designing for hardware-software interaction in logistics or field environments: Familiarity with products that bridge physical devices and software helps create intuitive, context-aware interfaces. Experience in fast-paced, real-world settings ensures designs are practical and aligned with how users actually work.

Benefits

  • Be a part of a passionate and innovative team
  • Work on groundbreaking technology in robotics and automation
  • Opportunity to shape the future of logistics and freight industries
  • Competitive compensation and equity options
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Unlimited PTO
