Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: 8-hour Evening Shifts
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Downtown Operating Room (OR) team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center and be proficient in a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN procedures. Certification is required.
Qualifications:Active Surgical Tech Certification (required)
Minimum 3 years of recent experience (within the last 4 years) in an acute care OR setting
Proficiency in general surgery and specialty areas, including:
Ortho, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, ENT, bariatric, GU, and GYN
Scrub experience is required
OB scrub experience is highly desired
Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size for travelers
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Maintain sterile techniques and ensure proper instrument handling
Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to ensure seamless surgical operations
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance regulations
