Responsibilities:
- Developing and editing technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and online help systems.
- Collaborating with engineers and product managers to gather information and understand technical specifications.
- Creating diagrams, illustrations, and other visual aids to enhance documentation.
- Ensuring documentation is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date.
- Following established style guides and documentation standards.
- Performing quality assurance checks on documentation.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in using authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, or similar.
- Experience creating various types of technical documentation (user manuals, online help, etc.).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with specific software or hardware technologies relevant to the company's products.
- Experience with DITA or other structured authoring methods.
- Knowledge of XML or other markup languages.
- Experience with translation or localization processes.
