Responsibilities
• Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments from containers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Accurately sort freight based on specifications and destination, maintaining organization and efficiency levels.
• Monitor and track the movement of freight, facilitating seamless tracing processes and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Effectively label and weigh freight for proper handling and shipment identification.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the work environment by performing regular cleanup tasks and adhering to safety protocols.
• Promptly document and report any instances of damaged shipments, ensuring appropriate handling and resolution.
• Generate and interpret basic reports to enhance warehouse operations and drive efficiency.
Qualifications
• Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar industrial work environment is required.
• Forklift Operation : At least 1 year of experience operating electric forklift models, including stand-up reach, cherry pickers, and/or sit-down forklifts.
• Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Reliable Transportation : Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Screening Requirements :
• Successfully pass a national background check.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pay
$20.00-$22.50 Per Hour
Schedule
A1 Shift (Weekdays): $20.00 Per Hour | Tuesday - Friday, 6 :00AM to 5:00 PM
A2 Shift (Weeknights): $21.50 Per Hour | Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM
B1 Shift (Weekend Days): $22.50 Per Hour | Saturday - Monday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
B2 Shift (Weekend Nights): $22.50 Per Hour | Saturday - Monday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
