Job Description
We are seeking a caring and responsible Weekend Babysitter for our 7-month-old son in Jersey City, NJ. The position typically involves working Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with occasional extensions for evening outings and sometimes Sundays instead of Saturdays. The role offers at least 2 weekend days per month, with more available in many months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for and feed our 7-month-old, including preparing formula and solid foods.
- Engage in playtime and interactive activities to support development.
- Take him to the park, community center, or other outings.
- Change diapers and maintain the baby's hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness of the baby's areas and help with light tasks around the home.
- Assist with light errands or meal prep while the parent handles baby duties.
Requirements:
- Proven babysitting experience with references.
- A warm and upbeat personality, alongside a strong sense of safety and reliability.
- Flexibility to adhere to the described schedule and weekend availability.
- Willingness to assist with household tasks as needed.
