Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay: $18–$23/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Potential to work from home after 3 months
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to support operational and engineering design projects. This role involves extensive 2D AutoCAD work, ongoing drawing management, and close collaboration with project management and vendor partners.
Perform extensive 2D AutoCAD design work
Manage and maintain project-related drawings and design files
Design and detail operational layouts and related component drawings
Improve layouts by understanding building constraints and engineering objectives
Analyze and verify takeoffs and calculations for accuracy
Review vendor and business partner drawings and quotes for clarity and completeness; resolve discrepancies and issues
Work closely with project management personnel to coordinate assigned projects and design requests
Participate in design review meetings, providing updates, identifying concerns, and addressing potential conflicts
Assist with coordination of material and equipment orders , installation scheduling, and execution of site work related to operational design elements
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required)
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Prior design or drafting experience preferred
