Bartenders needed for local venues in the Capital District, Hudson Valley and Lake George .

Albany, Troy, Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Schenectady and Hudson Valley.
Hourly Rate depends on experience and work venues.
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Bartenders (some roles are tips and others are non-tip roles) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, with experience in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by crafting high-quality beverages and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Engage with customers to provide friendly and efficient service, taking orders and answering questions about the menu.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food service regulations is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
