Now Hiring: New Construction Commercial Roofing Estimator
Phoenix, AZ 85040 | In-Office Position (Not Remote) $5,000 Sign-On Bonus After 90 Days | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Occasional Weekends
American Roofing & Waterproofing is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Estimator to join our Commercial New Construction Sales Team. If you know how to read construction blueprints and are confident working with takeoff software, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Read and interpret commercial construction blueprints and specs
Perform takeoffs using on-screen estimating software (PlanSwift, etc.)
Accurately calculate square footage, linear footage, and material quantities
Prepare estimates for roofing systems and materials
Communicate clearly with contractors and team members
Stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of plan takeoff experience required
Proficient in PlanSwift and similar estimating software
Roofing knowledge or industry experience preferred
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction documents
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF tools
Fast learner with excellent attention to detail
Follows company procedures and meets deadlines

7+ years of plan takeoff experience required

At least 2 years of blueprint reading experience preferred
