We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Duct Fabricator/ Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a team in Brookfield, CT. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing of high-quality ductwork for various HVAC systems. Responsibilities

• Fabricate ductwork and fittings according to specifications and blueprints.
• Utilize various tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal sheets.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as a duct fabricator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and ductwork design.
• Proficient in using hand tools and machinery relevant to duct fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting Skills
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
