Note : This is a hybrid position based in Miami, FL. However, the role requires being on-site five days a week during the first few months of training.

Job Description

• Provide direct support to a high-volume commercial litigator
• Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence with close attention to detail
• Maintain attorney calendars, schedule hearings, and manage court deadlines
• Handle e-filing and discovery production
• Organize and manage case files, exhibits, and trial prep materials
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to keep the practice running smoothly
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Strong proofreading and organizational skills are critical
• Must be highly meticulous and dependable under pressure
• Experience managing court calendars and deadlines
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Miami area
• Candidates with backgrounds in insurance defense or criminal law are less preferred but will be considered if they meet the commercial litigation requirement
