Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on general laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Participate in investigations related to equipment, test methods, or quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
• Assist in onboarding and training of associates.
• Maintain good laboratory and documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable BD policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.

Experience Required

• 0–2 years of engineering or technical experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience using small hand tools.
• Working knowledge of the operation of mechanical measurement equipment (e.g., Instron) is desirable.

Skills & Certifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and perform computer analysis.

Eligibilities & qualifications

• A BS degree in engineering is desirable (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Some form of technical training (e.g., college in a science or engineering background, technical school, or lab environment experience).
• Onsite presence required 5 days a week.
