Responsibilities: + Shape Zoom AI's future via groundbreaking research. Incubate AI models, algorithms, and techniques for next generation business applications by collaborating with experienced researchers and engineers; + Join AI projects, work with diverse teams, and achieve exciting results; + The AI incubation team is dedicated to Incubate AI breakthroughs, including foundational AI techniques and AI native applications that will largely improve people's work productivity; + Incubate foundation techniques for AGI, including new model structure, optimization techniques and distributed learning algorithms; + Incubate game-changing AI applications which will create huge potential business impact; + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve unique product problem; + Communicate technical concepts clearly in team discussions and presentations for technical and nontechnical audiences; + Foster growth in the AI research community by contributing to research papers for conferences and journals; and + Receive mentorship and providing insights drive innovation with experienced researchers and team members. What we're looking for: + Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Intelligent Information Systems, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent; + Must have 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation; + Must have 1 year of experience in experience in AI research or engineering practice in large scale distributed systems; + Must have 1 year of experience in developing distributed deep learning training system; + Must have 1 year of experience in optimizing efficiency of distributed training system; + Must have 1 year of experience in optimizing robustness of distributed training system; + Must have 1 year of experience in one of the programming languages: Python/C/C++/CUDA, and deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, Transformers and Deepspeed; + Must have 1 year of experience in Python Coding; + Must have 1 year of experience in developing new deep learning model to solve product problems; + Must have 1 year of experience in optimizing model parameters for better accuracy; and + Must have 1 year of experience in building AI solutions with deep learning models. Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $200,000.00 Maximum: $259,500.00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
