Job Description

Weezie is seeking a data-driven, hands-on, and detail-oriented Retention Marketing Specialist to own and execute customer retention strategies across email, SMS, and loyalty, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business goals. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for deepening brand loyalty and increasing customer lifetime value (LTV), as measured by retention revenue, second-order migration, and more. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you'll work closely with the Brand and Creative teams to ensure every retention effort is not only performance-driven but also beautifully on-brand. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, analyst, and executor, committed to using performance metrics to guide smart, scalable strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Quality check and schedule all email and SMS campaigns to ensure flawless execution and brand consistency, working hands-on in Klaviyo
• Develop and implement smart segmentation strategies to personalize communications and drive customer engagement
• Analyze retention performance regularly and translate insights into action by launching, optimizing, and iterating campaigns and flows based on KPIs such as open rate, click-through rate, repeat purchase rate, and LTV
• Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve campaign effectiveness across creative, copy, timing, and offers
• Continuously grow the email, SMS, and loyalty program subscriber base, and evaluate opt-in performance through innovative acquisition and engagement strategies

Who you are:

• You bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or loyalty marketing, ideally within a DTC e-commerce environment
• You have proven expertise in Klaviyo (required), with experience in Yotpo and Wunderkind considered a strong plus
• You are highly analytical and data-driven, with a track record of using insights to inform strategy and improve performance
• You approach work with a can-do attitude and take full ownership of your responsibilities, consistently following through on commitments
• You have exceptional attention to detail and uphold high standards of quality in everything you do
• You manage time and priorities effectively, consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• You’re a strong communicator and team player, collaborating effectively across departments to drive shared goals
• You are a curious self-starter with a proactive mindset, comfortable rolling up your sleeves and figuring things out independently
