Senior Interior Designer – Workplace, Commercial, Hospitality

We’re seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join a highly regarded architecture and design firm in the Stamford, CT area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in shaping elegant, functional environments across workplace , commercial , and hospitality projects. You’ll collaborate with a team of talented architects and designers to deliver thoughtful, innovative spaces that reflect each client’s vision and purpose.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the interior design process from concept through completion, including space planning, material palettes, and FF&E specifications.
• Develop and deliver compelling design presentations using 2D and 3D media.
• Work closely with project architects, consultants, and clients to ensure cohesive, buildable solutions.
• Oversee furniture procurement and manage vendor relationships.
• Balance design excellence with timelines and budgets while staying current on trends and industry innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial interiors, ideally including workplace and hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , SketchUp , Photoshop , and Microsoft Office .
• Strong visual presentation, communication, and project leadership skills.
• IIDA, NCIDQ, or LEED accreditation is a plus.
