Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Team Lead to spearhead the expansion of our municipal water and wastewater engineering services in the Houston area. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and business development acumen. The ideal candidate will drive project success, foster client relationships, and play an integral role in shaping our growing team.

• Lead and grow the municipal water/wastewater engineering practice in Houston.

• Develop client relationships and identify new project opportunities.

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee project execution.

• Assemble and guide technical teams, including internal staff and sub-consultants.

• Implement and uphold quality control standards across all project phases.

• Serve as a mentor and leader to engineering staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

• Maintain active engagement in local industry associations and professional networks.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.

• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas .

• 10+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater/reuse engineering design.

• Strong foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in planning, designing, and constructing municipal water/wastewater infrastructure in the Houston area.

• Established relationships within the local municipal water and wastewater sector.

• Experience in business development, including proposal writing and client engagement.

• Proven ability to manage projects financially and deliver profitable results.

• Strong communication skills for effective presentations, team coordination, and client interactions.

• Leadership experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
