**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience specializing in React Js and Industry Essentials. The candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during day shifts. This role involves developing innovative solutions that align with our companys goals enhancing user experience and contributing to impactful projects that benefit society. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React Js to enhance user experience and functionality. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features that align with industry standards. + Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. + Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure seamless operation and performance. + Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into development processes. + Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative team environment. + Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard user information and company data. + Test and deploy applications and systems ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. + Document development processes code changes and project updates for future reference and knowledge sharing. + Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress challenges and solutions. **Qualifications** + Possess a strong understanding of React Js and its core principles. + Demonstrate experience in Industry Essentials and related domain knowledge. + Exhibit proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript. + Show ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work effectively. + Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Have strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. + Be self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. + Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $105K - $118K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:· Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance· Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off· 401(k) plan and contributions· Long-term/Short-term Disability· Paid Parental Leave· Employee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
