Your Role as a Trade & Customs Specialist:

The Trade and Customs Specialist plays a key role in advancing Pandora’s Phoenix Strategy by strengthening trade compliance, optimizing financial performance through duty recovery, and ensuring efficient, secure, and sustainable cross-border operations. This role bridges operational excellence with strategic growth, reinforcing Pandora’s commitment to trust, transparency, and innovation in global trade.

You will report directly to the Head of Trade and Customs, Americas Operations, and collaborate closely with regional supply chain, logistics, finance, and legal teams to deliver measurable results.

What You’ll Do

  • Maximize and streamline duty drawback to reclaim eligible duties and improve refund efficiency.
  • Leverage data analytics to enhance compliance visibility and drive data-based decision-making.
  • Strengthen and expand supply chain security programs (e.g., C-TPAT, trusted trader certifications) to reduce risk and support market growth.
  • Manage and optimize annual customs bonds and licenses, reviewing and right-sizing to prevent overspend.
  • Enhance trade compliance by harmonizing regional processes across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
  • Design and deliver compliance training tools that empower teams and embed a culture of accountability.
  • Explore Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and develop claim management processes to unlock cost savings.
  • Proactively monitor regulatory and tariff changes to anticipate impacts and mitigate risk.
  • Reduce consulting spend by building internal expertise and driving operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in U.S. or global trade compliance, customs operations, or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of HTS classification, valuation, duty drawback, and FTA programs (USMCA, CPTPP, etc.).
  • Proven analytical skills with experience in, Alteryx, Power BI and Excel or similar data tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Maryland salary - $74,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience
