Job Description

This position is for a native English translator at a company that develops apps and mobile games. Your main responsibilities would be to translate, localize, and proofread a variety of documents, including game content, descriptions and updates. You would also write and edit anything from user manuals to marketing documents. In short, you would ensure that all our products and documents maintain a high level of written English throughout.If you have a passion for the mobile gaming industry then this might just be the perfect position for you. We’re a young company with a young and vibrant workforce. There is certainly opportunity for advancement and trying your hand at new things; you’ll be called upon for your opinion on anything from user interface layout to elements of game design. You’ll be in a position to make sure that our apps are suitable for a Western audience.The primary working language here is Chinese, so being able to communicate with your colleagues is very important. You’ll also work closely with a (very capable) native Chinese translator; you will check through each other’s work and provide mutual support.
